Responsible for developing new loan business in addition to servicing existing, agriculture and real estate customers. Establishes business relationships with agriculture producers, businesses, and professionals within the community and cultivates these relationships to expand lending opportunities. Promotes the association by maintaining good public and member relations and represents the association at various community events / meetings. Responsible for applying sound credit administration, makes decisions on loan approvals, structure and pricing. Maintains awareness of agricultural trends and business activity, FCA regulations, and legal obligations.
Bachelor’s degree in Ag Business, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. Experience in the agribusiness/farming industry, agricultural credit or closely related field is preferred. Must have an understanding of farm business management and finance, with an understanding of rural living is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills, communication, problem solving, analytical, negotiating, influencing and strategic selling skills. Should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
